Par ce flambeau...

I have a new layout on Unique Laser Designs blog.

I used the adorable french themed wood embellishments to make a layout with pictures from Lila's French Honor Society induction ceremony.

Supplies: patterned paper (Heidi Swapp), wood embellishments (Unique Laser Designs, mists (Tattered Angels, Heidi Swapp), stickles (Tim Holtz), chipboard stickers (Heidi Swapp), Silhouette Cameo

The title is the the first line of the induction pledge, in French ;-) I designed it is Silhouette software and cut from vinyl. So easy! Cuts like butter and applying is a breeze! I am in love! Do you use vinyl on scrapbooking projects?

Choir layout and piano card

My first post for Love My Tapes is up!

I used the cutest piano keys washi tape, gold washi tape and lace tape to make a layout and a card.

Supplies: cardstock (American Crafts) patterned paper (DCVW), washi and lace (Love My Tapes), wood heart (Unique Laser Designs), letter thickers (American Crafts), mist (Heidi Swapp), sequins, Silhouette Cameo

Supplies: cardstock (American Crafts), patterned paper (DCWV), washi tape (Love My Tapes), flowers (Prima), leaves(EK Success), pearls (Kaiser Crafts), vinyl, Silhouette Cameo

The piano card shape is from the Silhouette online store. I designed the sentiment in the Silhouette Studio and cut it from vinyl. So much easier than using cardstock!

Laundry basket tags with ATC blanks

I want to share some happy news with you. Well, happy for me, maybe less happy for my teenagers. I am no longer doing their laundry. That's it. I said it. No longer.

But I didn't just left them to struggle with their piles of laundry on their own. I gave them laundry baskets with cute tag. I am sharing how I made the tags on Unique Laser Designs blog. I used the wood ATC blanks that are perfect for ATCs, small art work or ... laundry tags.

For my grandma - Scrap It Girl May Challenge

Happy May, my dear blog readers! The weather is getting better every day (I am not going to let few weather hiccups to rain on my parade - literally), the grass is green again, the first wave of blossoming is already behind us. I am looking forward to being more outside and just soak in the sunshine before it gets too hot for me :)

As always, on the first of the month, I am sharing a project that I made for Scrap It Girl monthly challenge. today I am going to share something special to me. The challenge theme this month is Mother Day or Mother Nature. I rummaged through the box of old photographs and found the picture of my grandmother and me, probably from 1973.

Supplies: cardstock (Core'dinations), patterned paper (Jenni Bowlin, Making Memories), vellum, washi tape (Love My Tapes), pearls and jewels (Recollection), stickers (Carta Bella), wood heart (Unique Laser Designs), corner punch (EK Succss), paper clip, Silhouette Cameo

I used lightly sanded Core'dinations cardstock as a background. The papers are from old Jenni Bowlin kits. I didn't want to use adhesive on the picture, so I made a photo mat from vellum with punched photo slits that hold the picture.

To make the butterflies I covered vellum sheet with strips of Love My Tapes washi tape and run the sheet through the Silhouette. I used standard vellum setting but changed the blade depth to 3. The butterfly wings naturally curl up.

Small wood heart from Unique Laser Designs is also covered with washi tape. It rests on a paper clip and a small piece of adhesive foam. Nothing is glued to the picture itself.

You are remembered, grandma.

That's all from me for today. Check what other designed did here and share your project with us.
